Pastor Hutchens
People’s Baptist Church is an unaffiliated, local, New Testament Church. We currently meet at the Studio 9 School of the Arts located at 1180 Houghton Road. We exist for the purpose of carrying out the Great Commission with which Jesus charged His church:
"And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen." Matthew 28:18-20
We unashamedly stand for the "the faith which was once delivered unto the saints." We still sing the old-time hymns. We still open and proclaim The Scriptures (King James Version) at every service. We still go house-to-house in our community sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with as many as will listen.
